Inefficient Billing Operations with Independent Cron Jobs
The billing operations system faced inefficiencies due to multiple independently scheduled cron jobs, leading to potential overlaps, task interference,and failures in completion.
To address these challenges, the system was transitioned to a managed job queue using Supervisor. This included integrating Supervisor for better control, redesigning job scheduling to reflect logical dependencies, implementing robust error handling, and ensuring all tasks run smoothly in the background.
